VRT and Human Growth Hormone (HGH)

Been catching up with some interesting info in interviews with the illustrious Dr. Mercola regarding short burst, high intensity exercise and Human Growth Hormone (HGH).

Dr. Mercola is extremely interested in this style of exercise, and in his interview with Phil Campbell, an expert in high twitch and low twitch muscle fibers, he mentions Sprint 8 and other exercises of short, intense duration which creates high secretion levels of HGH in the body (no matter what the age). It is stressed that fast intense movements, (and fast-twitch muscle fibers) of short duration are the ones that create high levels of HGH.

This is exactly the method of VRT I have been applying lately, flexing hard, but moving FAST and intense, the kind that gets me extremely out of breath, and I can visibly see the difference that HGH makes, versus the slow heavy methods of exercise, or long duration aerobics like distance running which do not create these levels of HGH but are nevertheless healthy from an exercise viewpoint.
